Traditionally, a doula is a trained professional who provides women with pre- and post-natal care as well as assistance during childbirth. However, a doula can also assist patients with other aspects of reproductive care, including abortions. In the year since the U.S. Supreme Court ended universal abortion access, Minnesota has become a haven for patients in abortion-restricted regions of the Midwest.
